How we work in this area
Poverty and inequality are multidimensional. Effective policy needs to understand how income, opportunity, access to services, vulnerability and place interact in people’s lives.
EASA supports research that measures these dimensions, identifies who is being left behind and explores the constraints that prevent households and communities from improving their wellbeing. The aim is to give decision-makers a stronger basis for designing inclusive programmes and tracking whether they work.

Built around the decision
Assignments are shaped by the client’s question, available evidence, timeline and operating context. Where appropriate, we combine quantitative and qualitative methods so the final analysis is both rigorous and useful to the people who need to act on it.
